December 1st status

And then it became the first day of December. The christmas month where everyone has stress in their life and counting 24 days can be a long journey for some people. However, I have chosen to publish my next cosplay project. I will be trying to make Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a cosplay. The remake of his outfit that I want to make is from the game: Assasssin's Creed Brotherhood. Because there are different versions of exactly costume I have decided to make the version I fell in love with. The E3 2010 trailer version. (see link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzNs4-kRLaE )

I have already bought many of the materials, and have startied to exert myself on various techniques and methods to make this costume as well as possible. My biggest frustration right now is that his costume is very much off white, but fabric dealer do not like that color, so I have so far opted for a white. The main material is beaver nylon (what you do snowsuits of) and leather.

Otherwise I have made two OC and a kimono since then. But I will be back on track soon (I hope).

For a little finale: I've been out shopping... Very bad for a university student xD and I bought a new sewing machine. A kind of celebrating that I have started to be creative again. Another reason is probably that the old might be on track to retire. The see it just click on the link.

Hello everyone. My name is Karina and I come from Denmark. I will mostly use this blog for cosplays, random stuff and other hobbies. Some of the texts in here will properly be in Danish. But just so you can get to know me and what I do in my daily life: I study history at University of Southern Denmark in Odense (and maybe later religion) and hopefully one day I will become a teacher.

People have often ask me why I chose to study history at the university. All I can tell them is that I have been ruined by curiosity. I want to meet the best minds, exploring all sorts of libraries in the world and learn all of its secrets about nature and the universe. Some believe that it is a little ambitious to achieve everything in one life time. And who knows? It could be that one life is just enough. :)

Precisely because that studying history at the university is much about reading, I use cosplay to get away and be creative. Being creative is a big part of me and it is through cosplay I've met some of my best and closest friends. So I'll use the blog to upload progress, frustrations, today's bizarre episodes and much more.
